Coyote Point Museum
MEEA Home Up One Level

Mission Statement: "To inspire people of all ages to act responsible from an informed awareness of, and respect for, our environment and the interdependence of people and nature."

Coyote Point Museum for Environmental Education offers exciting educational experiences that enhance curriculum themes from pre - school to college level and provide stimulating activities for your group or organization.

Coyote Point Museum's exhibit building and Wildlife habitats are located in a scenic bayside park. The exhibit building houses an 8,000 square foot permanent exhibit that introduces visitors to the beauty of the natural world and illustrates people's relationship to the environment. Using a variety of techniques the exhibit explains the six major ecosystems found in the Bay Area- the redwood and broadleaf forests, grassland, chaparral, baylands, and the coast.

The Wildlife Habitats houses a collection of live native animals ranging from toads to coyotes, and outdoor aviary.
