Hello Teachers!

Children's Discovery Museum (CDM) provides 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teachers access to our award-winning, environmental science program

BioSITE (Students Investigating Their Environment)!

Ask about our FREE WORKSHOP AND FIELDTRIPS!

Teachers who participate in the three-day BioSITE ACE (After Class Experience) Institute will be able to bring their students to three, free, after school sessions at CDM¹s Guadalupe River field study site.  Each session will address three important themes: water, plants and animals, and habitat and stewardship.

In addition, CDM provides each teacher with the following:
·       Exciting science curriculum that meets state standards.
·       Trained staff to work with your students in small groups at the river site.
·       A teacher stipend.
·       An additional transportation stipend for your three field trips.
·       Continuing Education Units through San Jose University.

Join us for our first two sessions*:

Saturday, October 8, 2005 from 9:00am 4:00pm AND

Sunday, October 9, 2005 from 9:00am 4:00pm

at

³The whole BioSITE experience has been the opposite of any teacher ³enrichment² program I have participated in.  It has been so positive that it feels like recognition.²
